So you are interessted in contributing to brain-dump.com. Great! If you have an idea for an article that you think should be published here we would definitely like to hear from you.

What to write about

That is really up to you. We are interested in anything that you think might be helpful to others or that you just plain want to share. Possible subjects include computer hardware and software, webdesign, programming, toys and games. Anything related to technology or culture, or stuff you think is interesting will work.

These are of course only suggestions. Want to write about how you built a rocket using pieces you found on a junkyard? Or about your ongoing project of replacing all your furnishings with furniture assembled from Lego bricks? Go right ahead! You have pictures or videos to go with that? Even better!

Don't be discouraged if you think your article does not fit any of our categories. If we like your work we will create a new category for it.

Your target audience

brain-dump.com intends to reach people who are interested in new ideas and gadgets. We also want to be a ressource for solutions to tech-culture related problems.

What we need from you

Please send us your article in plain text. Do not send MS Word or other proprietary files. Feel free to use the following HTML-tags however you need them:

There is no need to use or for text formating. Just use your Return key.

If you have no idea how all this HTML crap works don't worry about it. Just mark in the text parts you want to emphasize and tell us where in the text images belong. We will convert your links, lists, and other text elements to proper HTML for you.

In addition to your article we encourage you to write a short description of yourself in a couple of sentences. This will go below the article so your readers can find out a bit about the author of the article they just read.

Also please provide contact information, so readers can contact you if they wish. This will typically be your personal website. We will not publish your email address unless you specifically tell us to. But you need to provide a working email address for us to be able to contact you. We will of course not share it with a third party without your consent.
